Treating Your Taste Buds: 5 Restaurants You Must Visit

Posted on August 22, 2021November 4, 2021 by joeG59iK

Everyone has a certain taste when it comes to food. However, regardless of that, you must try these five best restaurants while you still can. They are all in the United States, and you can check them out on special occasions, for fine dining, or just for a fun and good night out.

Alinea in Chicago, Illinois

If you want a modern dining room experience in Chicago with the best tasting menu that will get your mouth watering, head down to Alinea. This restaurant has a spot on most restaurant lists online — and for a good reason.

This three Michelin Stars restaurant has a professional and caring staff that will make your evening one to remember. And the decor is outstanding, with modern artwork on all the walls. You can also see into their kitchen while they work because the walls inside are made of glass.

Furthermore, the menu seems to be heavily vegetarian inspired. But, every plate is a work of art.

Eleven Madison Park in New York City, New York

Are you looking to dine with a view? Then Eleven Madison Park is the place for you. This is a fine dining establishment that has been around since 1997, with a full renovation having happened in 2017.

The restaurant overlooks Madison Square Park, hence the name. The owner is the Executive Chef called Daniel Humm, and they have recently decided to go a bit more plant-based with their menu. But, it is still unbelievably tasty.

Furthermore, the decor is comfy with a Modernist touch to it. And there is a lot of space so that you do not feel crowded on a packed night. And, they also host a wonderful bar where you can try out their tasty cocktails as well as their delicious menu.

Plus, while you dine, you will be helping out the New York community. As they say, “Every dinner purchased allows [us] to provide five meals to food-insecure New Yorkers.”

Atelier Crenn in San Francisco, California

Now onto some delicious French comfort food. Enter Atelier Crenn, one of the best spots in all of San Francisco. It is found on a hillside in Cow Hollow, offering you an escape from the rush of the city. The interior is cozy with soft browns giving it a calming feel while still providing a level of homely elegance.

The owner and chef, Dominique Crenn, wanted to infuse her Versailles childhood into the land of San Francisco and has been doing so, and quite well, since 2011.

The menu has a lot to offer, certainly for those that are seafood lovers. There are spiny lobsters and geoduck tart with oysters that will go well with a glass of rosé.

Another highlight of this three Michelin Stars restaurant is that it pairs tasty wine with delicious meals to bring out the flavors of both.

Le Bernardin in New York City, New York

Going back to New York, you should visit not only Eleven Madison Park but Le Bernardin as well. This is a restaurant where the fish is “the star of the plate,” as they say.

This fancy, seafood-loving restaurant was refurbished in 2011, making the space more modern and comfortable. Even the waiting staff got Nehru-style jackets to add to the experience while they serve you. Their guests are extremely happy with the food and the staff, making this a worthwhile experience.

The food is neatly presented on white plates allowing the colors to stand out a lot more. Each dish is well-prepared, well presented, and goes down nicely with every bite. Also, they do deliveries should you decide to have a classy dinner at home.

Inn at Little Washington in Washington, Virginia

An award-winning restaurant that you cannot miss while in Washington is the Inn at Little Washington. This one has a cozy and inviting interior with a lot more going on for it.

For one, the food is out of this world due to the influence of French and American cuisine. Plus, they also host events where the staff really get into it by wearing costumes.

The guests have nothing but praise for this establishment, often writing about how good the food is and how friendly the staff has been to them. They all say that it is worth a weekend away or a detour. But why not try it out yourself? Maybe even host an event there?

Closing Time

These five restaurant recommendations are the best of the best in the United States. They offer fancy comfort while serving up inviting, delicious food. All the meals are created with the utmost care, and they are waiting for you to give them a taste. Bon appetit!
